We spent Christmas in Texas this year at my sister's house. We survived a 4-hour flight each way, being cooped up because of the cold and rain, a car trip to San Antonio, and a cold and wet visit to Sea World (the next blog post).
I spent much of our week playing with my Christmas gift: a Nikon D90 that can actually capture my crazy, fast moving toddlers before they can run from the camera. Yay!!! Here are a few of the first pictures I took.

Sweet baby-face Luke

For some reason, walking around in adult shoes was a favorite past-time.

Grandma Linda walked Dog-Ailey

Me and Silje - me in my borrowed clothes because the airline lost one of our suitcases for a day.

Ailey on the ginormous chair.

Andy pulled out the big lens and got this shot just outside Sarah and Winston's house.

A friend of mine makes these capes for kids. All four kids got them and had some fun being
Super.
Super Ailey!

Super Marin!
Super Silje!
Super Luke!

Once Uncle Winnie went back to work the kids all enjoyed watching him on the TV. They were fascinated.

Silje grabbed the remote during a commercial trying to get Uncle Winnie back on - "Where'd Uncle Winnie go?!"

Luke did get used to the girl-noise, but he had his moments of intolerance.

We had a fun week. Good times, good food, good travel!
